I use to identify myself like that, asian friends, asian cultures. But got sick of it. Most asians have that “crab mentality” if one of you rises, others got to pull you down. Or rather most asian parents hold that mentality. You know what i mean? They have to always out do some other family, or ‘be better’ in some way. Or it must be just a filipino thing, becuase from what I have observed. Elderly and few young ones are always in competition in something. Wether it be looks, personal possesions, or a job. They have to be better someway or the other.I’m one of those asian kids, who hate other asian kids, cuz they are “so damn asian.”

bigotry seems like the extreme of racism to me. btw, you should watch crash. excellent movie about race.
also, the united states version of diversity, a “melting pot” is very different than that in canada. there are even MORE asians in canada. and i don’t feel like there’s any perceived racism there either. very different place

I use to hang out with people who were very racist against mainly blacks and mexicans and 1 was even a bigot and he was evil…
Everyone has their moments when they say stuff or have something against certain people, doesn’t make us a bad person.
Myself, I feel umcomfortable around certain people if their are crowds of them, but I realize, it’s just another person like myself.
I think people who are racist and bigot are shallow minded and need to seek help.
