It’s a basic instinct to want to be shady, part of the sinful nature in all of us. Ironically a lot of people fill that void of wanting to be shady through Xanga. I would say that’s a good thing though so we don’t have people exposing, killing, hurting, copulating, masturbating, etc, in public….

there’s a distinction between people who are shady and people who are in shady businesses. illegal substance enthusiasts aren’t necessarily shady and wholesome dinner-party goers can still pull shady shit here and there.a good rule of thumb is to stay away from shady-ass people (whatever their “hobbies” are).

ahh….i see! i thought u had only hung out with ur same straight-edge friends that maybe u had in high school…. in that case…well, i guess u could always go back to the underground scene, but i’m not sure u will find it the same as when u left it. i’ve been pretty much out of the raving scene since 2000 (though i still like clubbing).actually, i currently live in japan. i will be flying into lax on wednesday, though, but not to stay in l.a. going to visit the family after a 16 month absence :)have a great holiday!

thats just where you need a balance of “wholesome” and “the shady” people. i am the shady person, i know the good, and i know those that are MUCH worse than i am. but you shouldnt do illegal things, its bad for you
