I designed this a while back, and have always wanted it as my
tat. It has significance to me because my buddhist name means
“Golden Lotus” (Lien Kim).

thats a nice design. but dont be like everyone else and put it on the usual spots where girls get tats. like ankles, lower back, shoulder blade, etc…

I want a tattoo, but I am equaly leery of getting one. Whenever I get a tat idea, I make myself wait six months to see if I’ll reconsider. That’s why I don’t have a tattoo of a barcode on the back of my neck. Goddamn I was a stupid fourteen year old.My brother though, doesn’t have quite the same philosophy. He picked out this gorgeous peice of modern art called “Voices of Space” and decided he wanted it on his shoulder. Basically, it’s two interesting looking spheres floating in the midst of space. The space background was too hard to tat, so they agreed on a sort of green crosshatch pattern. So now, for the rest of his life, my brother has a tat of what appears to be Pokeballs resting on a bed of easter grass.
lol thats a gud tat to get hun. if i get one (which will be soon.. if i could ever make up my mind lol) it wud be either a butterfly.. like mariah careys ring she wears on my wrist.. lol despite the pain factor.. or the chinese symbol for love or peace on the outside of my right ankle. lol i have too much time to think bout this. =(

That would be a ncie tattoo. But I never understood the rationale behind paying for something that’ll last forever but you might not like it forever. Most of my friends who have tattoos now are either regretting it or is trying to laser it off.

Wow, that “Golden Lotus” is used as a designated resting seat or something, by the Boddivista and most of the other Buddhas.. It’s funny you posted that up, because for a period of time, I wanted to become a monk and was told that monks can’t have tattoo’s.. The people at the temple say that if we were born with no tattoo’s than we should die with no tattoo’s. But yeah, that tatoo is nice.. I’m still going to get one though, a poem dedicated to my parents on my chest.. hehe.. Anyhow, I hope things work out for you.. BTW, how are you feeling now??

Although it has been almost 2 months since Hurricane Katrina hit, and a month since Hurricane Rita, people are still in desperate need of help. The media has stopped covering the disaster as much, but people need to be aware that there are still people dying everyday, people who don’t have the food, water, medications, or shelter that they need to survive.
We’ve pretty much started an organization to get these people what they need, although we don’t have an official name, we’re doing what we can, but there is only so much you can do with no financial aid, no real outside support. At this precise moment we are not asking for donations, not asking for volunteers. We ask that you stay tuned to my journal, while we finish preparations on a small video trailer, showing the things that have already been done, a teaser for a video that will come out later, and will shock you to no end. And it isn’t over yet. We are more than prepared to be there for those who will be affected by Hurricane Wilma, and hopefully any other natural disaster that will come our way.
We’re not asking anyone to jump to help us without an explanation, and that will come with time. If things go as planned, we will have a link for the trailer tomorrow, and if anybody is interested in helping in any way, shape, or form, please e-mail Morgan at TinkerDumplin@aol.com or leave a comment at http://www.xanga.com/disasterrelief and as things progress, we will let you know what you can do to help, which most likely will never even involve leaving your home.

Actually strangely enough it is going to be a lotus flower with my dad’s name flowing above it. I was thinking of getting a little buddha standing on top of the lotus flower and having my dad’s name above the buddha. Depends, I’m not sure yet.

I’ve been considerin gettin a tat for couple of years now, still haven’t taken any actions yet, I thought of as an old lady with a tat on my wrinkled skin, it’ll look really ugly.
I was thinkin about gettin an innocent angel with 2 devil horns on my right shoulder blade, and a graffiti design of my name in Chinese and English of a black rose if you see it from far away on my lower back.
