Sticker Picture Frenzy

Here’s a secret: I’m obsessed with sticker pictures. I have a collection of over 100 sticker pic sets :) Not so much lately, because no one ever wants to do it anymore!! .. But here are some recent ones taken in the $10.00 type sticker booths.

CUE!!
You can’t tell, but I was suffering from the flu here.

Counters

I constructed these counters using nothing more than the vague idea of having a wheel-type counter that could go up to 99 (without having a bunch of tiny numbers on one wheel). They were designed in Photoshop using a lot of printing, measuring, and cutting.

If there’s enough interest, perhaps I’ll post the pattern. :)

Counters
Materials: Heavy cardstock, two brads each, clear packing tape
Created with: Photoshop, Printer, Xacto knife, scissors

Time:
Engineering: about 3 hours [and lots of paper scraps :)]
Creation of each counter: about 15 minutes

–To date, I’ve made about 13-15 counters

Changed my profile picture for the first time in about 3 years So sexy. That other photo had become such a part of my online existence that it’s actually kind of hard to let it go. Even if it was absolutely not what I look like in real life. This picture shows my personality a bit more anyhow.

Anyways, only 1 person followed through properly on the PIF, so I’m opening up the floor again to two more lucky contestants. BTW, you won’t be getting your gifts until after christmas. Sorry in advance. :)

What is PIF?I
will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on
my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. The only thing you have
to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your
blog.

Once you’ve made the same promise on your blog, email me your address to ambiguous@gmail.com… I’ll notify you whether or not I’ll be sending you a present via e-mail.

I caught this from Brent.

I recently switched jobs from being a graphic designer to pursue a career in web development and my old company is having problems filling my shoes.

If you have experience in graphic design and can handle yourself around HTML and are located in Orange County, this is the place for you.

E-mail me at ambiguous@gmail.com with your resume, a cover letter, and some samples of your work.

New job.

Started at my new job yesterday. Thusfar, the environment seems more suited to my needs than my last place of work. No prescribed arrival time, and the work is more along my area of expertise… And everyone here is young! My first project is on a website for Laura Scudder Inc… Yeah! The food. Fun.

The no prescribed arrival time is really great for someone like me who struggles (because of the bipolar) with insomnia from time to time. After a crash, it’s really hard to get up in the morning — but not so much so that I’d have to miss a whole day.

I’m really glad I picked this job (the lower paying of my two offers) — I struggled a lot, making this decision… The more I think about it, the more I’m (slowly) realizing that there are some things that money can’t buy, I think… Like a place of work flexible enough to deal with my bipolar. :)

What’s sad is… This list isn’t complete.

I want to be that kind stranger that I’ve always wanted to run into.

It’s not that I don’t feel blessed most of the time. And it’s not that I don’t appreciate everything I have every day.

It just always shocks me so much whenever I get a full glimpse of how quickly our day to day lives can be affected [sometimes permanently], just by one misstep, one second, whether by ourselves, by someone close, or by a complete stranger.

So, i got this message the other day on my other blog:

well.. | Kimisoldandfat@uglyass.com | IP: 76.104.189.152

girl you’re fucking old I cannot believe you are still blogging. Dumb fuck.

Granted, I did start blogging in 1999 — almost 10 years ago, I really don’t see how I’m too old [I’m 24!]? Plus, if I was young before, wouldn’t i still be the same age in comparison to whoever wrote this?

Strange. I must have done something bad a long time ago.
