In an attempt to make things a little bit more interactive, I will attempt to put an insightful question at the end of each post. Reply to it if you want, but most of all I think I’d like it if you took it with you for the day and think about it. 
Today I have nothing to write about, so I’ll skip right to the question.
Have you ever bought or made a present for someone else that you really like, even if you’re not sure if they’d like it just because you wanted to buy it? Why?
All the time ^^*.. If I’m limited on cash and my goal is to buy a present for someone, I’d spend the cash on the item that I would really like to have myself. I’d buy the item for them because it both feels good to be able to buy it, and it allows me to feels better to know that at least someone I care about has the object.
Sure I use to burn CDs for ppl all the time. Anybody can burn a CD, but if you put alot of time pickn’ the songs, assorting them in a classic order and making a killer cover…well then that ought to qualify as the equivalent of making a present.
I made this classic CD that they still refer to this day. I called it "Kinky Klassics", and it has 11 awesome party rock songs. I made it only b/c I knew my buddies would like the songs. As a result everyone wanted a copy, and all their friends at work wanted a copy.
it was classic to say the least:P
sometimes I make really cute things for my boyfriend like crane mobiles and stars and keychains…etc… even when I know he’s probably thinkin "omg what am i going to do with THIS?" hahah.
^_^; whereas if I got the same gift I’d be completely excited. Hell, I get excited making/buying it!…
Like monkey for example. I slept with monkey for 2 weeks before i gave it to John on our 4 monther.

yea..like this one time…in japan..i stuck a fl…oh wait…wrong train of thought… XD
anyway…this girl asked me to get her some pink stationary when i went for a trip to Japan a ways back…and i wasn’t actually sure if she was just jokin or not about it, but i got it anyway and sent it like 3 or 4 months later or something.
when she got it she was like ooh what a surprise…you actually got it and you wrote me and stuff…aanndd…well yea that was pretty nice. Feels good to know that I made somebody happy with what I did…even if it was just stationary.
