So I went to see The Departed
…And got carded as I walked in the door.

Okay, this is getting ridiculous… But last night I got carded as I was walking into the movie! Just me, no one else in my freaking group! One person was even under 21!]

HOLY CRAP! It’s just a rated R movie!

My friends were making fun of me. :) It was pretty hilarious, but man, seriously, am I getting younger each day? My boyfriend’s starting to look like a pedo walking around with me!

On another note, it was a DAMN good movie. Go see it.
And if you haven’t seen it, go see Infernal Affairs, which the movie was based on.

haven’t seen departed yet, but infernal affairs was pretty sick!and Asian girls between the ages of 16 and 25 all look exactly the same!

Enjoy it Kim, Enjoy enjoy enjoy it. You know you love it, wait till your 33 and not 23. My lil sister a few months behind me is about to slam into the big 3.0 like I did, and she is doing it quite gracefully…Those 15 seconds you dig out your ID is like 15 seconds of Kim time, cause everyone is waiting for ya…;)

Most of the time, looking younger is good. =)The movie theater i go to is always so lazy. They never check IDs.

haha! i never got carded for R rated movies, even before i turned 17.
but the strange thing is, a lot of people don’t think i look like a senior, and applebee’s gave me a kid’s menu once because apparently i look like a kid. -__-”

I was carded buying superglue at Albertsons. Tell me that’s not worse than your story.
The Departed was really good. I’m glad they didn’t mess it up too bad, but I really didn’t like diCaprio. He looked like he was gonna cry everytime he had lines. All the main characters in The Departed ended up being kinda pathetic while Infernal Affairs had this cool factor to it. That or I just really really like Tony Leung’s acting.

there were kids under 10 years old watching that movie with their parents when i saw the flick. one of them started crying as the movie ended.

i wanna see that movie! i think it’s an asian thing; i upgraded from being a 12 year old to 15 this year. :) lol i’m 19.
