Or weak and smart?
Dear Friend,
Which would you rather be, strong and stupid or weak and smart?
If I had a choice I would be strong and stupid… And by stupid, I mean
REALLY stupid. Stupid enough to not recognize my own
shortcomings. Strong enough to pummel my way through life blindly.
Afterall, as they say, “ignorance is bliss”, right?
Instead, I’ve been born smart enough to see my own weaknesses but not strong enough to rectify them.
Which would you rather be?

that’s ridiculous. you rather be incredibly stupid? this is a modern society too…since when does being strong actually get you anything? hehe. it’s not like you have to fight off ninjas or hordes of savages. trust me, the nerds of this world have the best opportunities. just look at bill gates. he’s probably really weak, but he’s smart. humans in general have always been the weakest of the species. our physical traits are pretty lackluster when it comes to survival. our ability to reason has always been our best survival trait. without it, we’d be extinct.

i think that right now i’m weak and slightly above stupid. i think strength could help in a pinch but i don’t know how enjoyable life owuld be strong and stupid.oh what the hell, strong and stupid it is.
I think you’ve asked this question before, I recognize your stance. Weak people don’t admit that they’re weak because they’re too weak to deal with the attention. It’s easier to ignore it and either a) not burden someone else with it or b) be afraid to admit it.People who admit weakness merely don’t understand where their strength comes from.That’s what I think, anyways.
Oh, and I’d go for smart and weak. Though I’d never be strong enough to face my weakness, I’d be able to acknowledge it myself. To me that’s more important.

this kinda question reminds me of the movie for “Of Mice and Men”. That was a sad movie and portray the two characters that display just that. Both end up losing in the end tho…so its a hard choice to make ^^;

Weak and smart for sure. If someone tried to beat me up, I’d be smart enough to know how to get out of it because they’d be strong but stupid right? Har.

weak and smart because the things i value most could only be recognized with an intelligence and the things i value least can mostly be gotten by forse… besides ‘the unexamined life is not worth living’ and if youre really stupid you cant possibly posess the greatest virtue ‘Wisdom’ and cannot properly examine your life, not that Plato’s views are in general correct, but on this point I have to agree. even if knowledge is pain and not necessarilly always power, i would rather know and understand than remain in ignorence,always the pawn of other people’s wishes.

Maybe your too smart for your own good. I like to practice something called ‘selective ignorance’. It helps me when I’M too smart for my own good
I dunno. If I’m weak you will trust me more, because if I was strong there is always the chance that I would overpower you. And if you were strong, and I was too blinded by my own stupidity to recognize it, then I would undervalue your friendship and you would wind up thinkinng what I butthead I was. I guess weak, strong, smart or stupid, you can’t ever forget that there’s somebody else out there who needs you.
