Falling…
how many meanings for one little word…
Falling down, which we all do.
Falling from glory, which is just like a plunge from a cliff.
Falling into depression, which is like being swallowed whole…
and falling in love, which isn’t really falling at all.
And still there are more meanings… So many different feelings for one word.
Can we experience them all at once?
yea….
theres a few of them out there…lets just hope its the good version of falling…

sure i do it all the time.. fallen for someone i can’t have which puts me in depression and away from glory. i become absent-minded so i trip and fall (sometimes off of a cliff). lol

i’m actually swimming in depression right now after finding out my girlfriend of 5 years has been cheating on me. why i’m sharing this with the public? beats me… but i do know exactly what you’re saying

they all represent moments where we lose all control. i feel that you can experience them all at once. i saw a beautiful girl on the street and fell in love. i couldn’t stop staring and i tripped over a dog…falling down. i fell into a pile of dog sh*t and she saw…i fell from glory. She laughed and walked away…and i fell into depression.ok…sequential…but almost at the same time.
In a way, I think we can.

you can fall down from glory, get picked up and fall in love, then fall into depression when you find out that person’s got someone already. does that work for all at once?

I think the meaning is in something that happens out of circumstance while at the same time not being able to stop the movement. While the feelings associated with the types of falling… not all at once, maybe two or three at the same time, but it is usually confusion that sets in.
